NEW RESOURCE - WAYFINDER
We have been working on a new resource these past few months.
It’s called ‘Wayfinder.’ and is borne out of desire to help people who wouldn't call themselves Christians to develop a balanced rhythm of life.
Our strong conviction is that learning to live the ‘Way of Jesus’ can be a gateway to knowing him personally and choosing to follow him as an apprentice, disciple or follower.
​
‘Waymaker’ consists of 3 ‘Waymarks’ which act like a trellis to provide a structure for us to grow our lives on. These waymarks are: Silence, Simplicity and Balance and are a first step towards the 5  key Waymarks of the Community.

How do I join the community?
There is no formal sign up as such, however signing up to the newsletter below will ensure you keep up to date with developments, local events and more.
You are welcome to interact with the whole of this website freely, including commenting on the blog and trying out the various resources and working on your individual Way of Life. However. the Christian life is meant to be lived with others and we believe you will gain much more by connecting with a Soul Friend.

How do I find a Soul Friend and what commitment am I making?
Simply contact us through the Contact us tab at the top of this page and we'll be in touch about linking you with one of our mentors. An initial meeting will be arranged and things will be taken from there. Other Soul Friends are available if you'd prefer to explore that, otherwise a mutual agreement can be made to meet occasionally with the Soul Friend to support you as you seek to follow Jesus in the whole of life.

Can I belong to a church or another Christian community as well as the Soul Friends?
The majority of current members belong to churches throughout the Holme Valley and worship regularly there. Soul Friends is a cross church community helping people to follow a Jesus centred Way of Life. Some of the founding group belong to other new monastic communities too and find that the structure of Soul Friends complements rather than interferes with their belonging to those communities.
